The Secret Lamp Service is proud to announce the SLS 1 lamp, available to buy as part of a limited production run of 15 lamps. The first edition of these lamps is available in Baltic Birch Plywood, future editions will be available in aluminum as well.
The SLS 1 lamp is designed to function in your space. Constructed from CNC cut aluminum or wood, these lamps can be hung from the ceiling or sit on a surface. The functional design allows the owner to easily swap out different lamp shades depending on their taste or mood. Adaptability and Functionality are at the heart this minimal design. We encourage our customers to create their own lamp shades to personalize their space. Whether you screen print, die cut, draw, stencil, finger-paint, or use a japanese rice paper, the possibilities are endless when it comes to creating your shade.
Wood Lamps are made from 1/4"CNC cut Baltic Birch Plywood and glued together. Aluminum Lamps are made from 1/8" CNC cut Aircraft aluminum that fit together with machine screws.
With each lamp we include the fixture, cord/electrical socket, mounting hardware, as well as 1 limited edition screen printed shade and 1 blank shade. Additional blank shades can be purchased for $5. Custom screen printed designs are also available in limited edition by various artists. We recommend using a low watt CFL bulb. Please feel free to email SLS with any questions or comments!
